Tests & Testimonials
No matter how good you think your product is, unless you have accurate and independent tests no one will believe in the product.
We at Magno-Flo™ have been testing and improving our product to meet new exacting demands and also adapting to allow for additional applications such as gas boilers and the haulage industry.
Apart from our own rigorous tests, we also had independent tests carried out at the Bolton institute for Engineering both on The Effects of Magno-Flo™ on diesel engines and Effects of Magno-Flo™ on Emissions which can be seen in full in both unedited reports.
Also, to meet current vehicle standards we are presently running tests on a new fleet of vehicles specifically purchased for testing Magno-Flo™ on modern cars. With this, along with tests being carried out on independent vehicles, we intend to have the most comprehensive data available to the public by any fuel saving company.
We will be publishing full details on the tests currently being carried out in the coming weeks.- Results of Flowmeter Trials conducted in January, 2010, can be seen on the Magno-Truck page
- Test results ongoing with two Scottish councils are showing fuel savings between 8 and 14%. Statistical results will be published in due course.
Report on Renfrew Council Trial - Feb 2010
This trial has been conducted over the last three months, November, December and January 2010 and has been compared with the same three months of last year. Despite the adverse weather conditions that we are experiencing this year, the trial has proven, yet again, with proper monitoring in place, all of the refuse collectors fitted, have seen fuel savings between 4.24% and 14%. Renfrew council is the first Scottish council to purchase Magno-flo units.
Fleet No Fuel Saving
Ford Ranger 1538 8.5%
26TRCV 1525 14.0% Refuse Vehicle 26tonne Volvo
18TRCV 1588 4.24% " " 18 " "
26TRCV 1609 10.33% " " 26 " "
What the trial, so far, has shown is that all of the HGV’s have fuel savings ranging from 4.24 - 14%, which is a considerable increase
On the Ford Ranger, I am pleasantly surprised to see a fuel saving of 8.5%, given the weather conditions that we haven't experienced for over 28yrs, along with the fact that it has optional 4 wheel drive, which, over the last two months would have been frequently utilised (not good for mpg).
